The Battle for Nonprofit Storytelling: Twitter vs. Instagram [VIDEO]

Sadly, the era of tightly integrated usability between Instagram and Twitter is over (for now). No longer can you take a slightly off-kilter photo of yourself, apply a sepia filter in Instagram and easily tweet it out to all your friends (with viewing the photo in the tweet).

So, what’s a nonprofit to do? What’s the best option for your organization to share memorable photographs to your constituents?

Our resident social media expert Derek Dillon is here with all the answers. Basically, either Instagram or Twitter can serve your nonprofit’s needs: it just depends on what fits you best. Instagram remains a leader in social visual media, but Twitter’s reach might be stronger for your organization.
